  • Authentication credentials (hashed passwords or OAuth tokens)

Repository and Code Data

When you connect a repository and trigger a code review, we process:

  • Repository metadata (name, URL, branch information)
  • Pull request diffs (the code changes submitted for review)
  • Personal access tokens (PATs) for SCM authentication, stored encrypted

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • Review history (verdicts, comments, timestamps)
  • Dashboard usage and analytics interactions
  • Browser type, IP address, and device information for security and analytics

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the VERDiiiCT service
  • Process code reviews by sending PR diffs to AI providers for analysis
  • Display review history, analytics, and pass rate metrics in your dashboard
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Communicate with you about service updates and support requests
  • Monitor and improve service performance and security

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party AI providers to power our code review engine. When a review is triggered, the pull request diff is sent to one of the following providers based on your organization's configuration:

We do not sell, rent, or share your code or personal data with any other third parties. AI providers process data solely for the purpose of generating code review feedback and do not retain your code beyond the processing session.

5. Data Storage and Retention

  • Code diffs are sent to AI providers for processing and are not stored permanently by VERDiiiCT. They are discarded after the review is complete.
  • Review results (verdicts, comments, metadata) are stored for your review history and analytics and are retained for the lifetime of your account.
  • Personal access tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.
  • Account data is retained until you delete your account or request data removal.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive data (PATs, credentials)
  • Per-tenant data isolation — your organization's data is logically separated from other organizations
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities
